Hello everyone, I'm Mats Sundin!

You may remember me as the guy who refused to be traded at the deadline for a first round draft pick, a top prospect and more! I probably inspired other guys with no trade clauses to stick it out and make a run for the playoffs.

Shortly after torpedoing the Leafs' upcoming rebuild by not being traded I hurt my groin during the most important part of the season! Not only did the Leafs not get any picks or prospects, they also didn't get any Mats Sundin on the ice! It's the best of both worlds, unless you're still a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, in which case you probably aren't very happy right now. Anyhow, I'd love to stay and chat but I have an appointment to get a "theraputic groin massage" from six undergrads at Humber.

Important disclaimer: I love Mats and know he was the best Leaf ever but jesus christ.

Good one, Chem.

Navin: Yup. I remember sitting there while Philly fans shouted obscentities at me thinking the same thing.

Greener: Thanks. I'm really bummed out.

Well, at least it isn't a gun to your temple. And is it wrong that when you said the words ""theraputic groin massage" , the first thing I thought of was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q54LJ5RsqRw

I'm officially taking the position that I don't care it Mats comes back next year. He will not commit to more than one year which makes it difficult to plan a rebuild. Maybe those dollars are better used on a younger UFA who will commit to several years. As long as the GM doesn't pull another Blake signing.
